Moving Info

Thank you for selecting JPG Rental and Storage.  We look forward to helping you with your storage needs.  We encourage you to download and review the self-storage agreement and bring with you.  We will help get your account set up as quickly as possible.
Move In Procedures

Setting up an account takes about 15 minutes.  Calling ahead and bringing completed forms with you helps move things along.  You will need a state issued ID or driver's license when renting.  On move-in day, we ask that you do not block driveways and when leaving please ensure building doors are closed.  Minimum storage rental is 1 month.  You can rent as long as you want with no long-term contracts.  We cannot take reservations for units over the phone but you can pre-pay or make payments over the phone.

Download PDF versions of rental agreements for indoor or outdoor storage.

Complete the forms and bring to the front office during normal business to fast track moving in to your unit(s).

Move Out Procedures

Moving in is usually the easy part.  Moving out takes some time and planning.  Your rental agreement requires you to do a few things before closing your account.  Please review the list below to make your move-out easier.

  • Empty your storage space

Be sure to completely clear out everything in your storage space and remove it from the property so that we can close out your account.  Do not leave trash behind on property.  You will be charged for trash left behind.

  • Tidy up

Your indoor unit should look just like it did when you arrived. Sweep it out and clean up any spills.  Failure to do so will result in a $25.00 charge.

  • Remove the lock

The lock on your self-storage space belongs to you so be sure to take it with you so you can use it again. Because you have the only key, if you leave your lock on, the space is still occupied by you even if you know there is nothing inside and you are responsible for the rent.

  • Check out with the front office

Let us know you’re leaving in advance – Ten day’s advance notice before you move out ensures your auto-pay will be turned off and allows you a smoother move-out. You can notify us in person, voice mail or email.  (You can always change your mind or move-out date, no problem).

  • AFTER YOU HAVE MOVED OUT (even if you gave advance notice)

Stop by the office to let your property manager know you vacated your space so we inspect it and close your account.

Please refer to your rental agreement and move out forms for more details.

Please be sure to notify the office of any changes to your

account information (address, phone, CC info, etc).
